Spring Lust: The Waterfall Skirt

I think that the waterfall skirt is a beautiful type of skirt and I can't wait until I buy one for myself. The only type of skirts that I currently own are bodycon skirts because they are one of the few types of skirts that actually suit me, however for this summer I craved to own a maxi skirt. But as I am very short and I have quite short legs most of the skirts are too long on me and they make me look even shorter. So when I discovered the waterfall skirts I fell in love, for me they are kind of a comprimise because they are flowy like a maxi skirt but they won't be too long and I can still show off my legs a little bit and it won't make me look shorter than I already am.
I have only really looked on the Topshop website for them and here are a few that really caught my eye:
I really like this one because it isn't too long in the back and I love the colour. The colour is a sort of muted blue colour which is perfect for Spring as it is a kind of pastel colour. They also have the exact same skirt in a beige colour which I think would look really nice on someone with a darker skin tone, but because I am very pale I think that it would really wash out my legs and make me look paler. On the Topshop website it is priced at £36 and here is the link for it: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=4857672&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208530&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=200
I think that this skirt would look beautiful in Autumn/ Winter because of the colour. It is a dark maroon/ purple colour which I think is really pretty. The cut on this one is different from the first image. The first one is short in the middle and the back and is longer on the two sides which I think is very interesting. However the cut on this is completely different the front is higher than the back but both skirts are still flowy and would look nice in the summer. This skirt is slightly more expensive at £45 but I think I prefer the cut of this skirt. They do have this skirt in a few other dark colours, like a dark green and black. Here is the link of it on the Topshop website: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=4659671&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208530&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=200
If I were to choose out of the three skirts I would probably choose this one although it isn't really a Spring/ Summer colour. This is because I think that this one is more versatile because it is just black. I also think that this one would be easier to style because of the colour and it would be very easy to dress up with some killer heels or wedges or to dress it down with a tank top, sandals and a fedora hat. This skirt is exactly the same cut as the second skirt just in a different colour. I also like this one the best because I really could wear it all year round because I can wear it in the summer without tights and wedges and then wear it in the winter with thick black tights and some ankle boots. Whereas I think that the first skirt wouldn't look that good with black tights because of the colour of the skirt. This one is also £45 and here is the link: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=4836644&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208530&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=200

So what do you think of these skirts I personally love them but I think that you would have to style them the right way to pull them off and they are quite edgy.
